Giving

Community involvement is something that I have always been a strong advocate of.

I have been involved in many different charities and have given support for many more charities…. But my main charity that I support is Canuck Place Children’s Hospice.

Reason is simple…… I am a father of three healthy boys, and cannot fathom the idea of any of my boys being stricken down with a terminal illness.  I support this charity as a father that wants to help other families in what I consider my worst nightmare.

I have been working with Canuck Place Children’s Hospice since moving back to Vancouver in 2003.  In that time I have been involved in:

• Organizing the annual Mortgage Broker / Lender hockey tournament, raising over $60,000 in support of Canuck Place!

• Participating in the annual Adventure Challenge every fall where for 6 years I have Ran, biked and Kayaked my way thru the north shore mountains.  I have been either the top or the second placed fundraiser every year I attend, raising personally over $45,000 in support of Canuck Place! A portion of every deal I do is donated to Canuck Place.
